BNZ today announced the appointment of Jodene Murphy as Head of Brand and Customer Experience.

Director of retail and marketing Craig Herbison has been recruiting for a considerable period of time, which he says is a reflection of the importance of the role in his leadership team, and for BNZ.

“We’ve been scouring the country, and looking internationally for the right person for this role so I’m delighted to be able to say that Jodene will join us at BNZ. She is one of New Zealand’s most seasoned brand and marketing professionals.

“As Head of Brand and Customer Experience Jodene is tasked with BNZ’s brand and customer experience, acting as guardian for the ‘be good with money’ purpose that’s in our DNA at BNZ,” said Craig.

Jodene is well-known in the industry and will join BNZ from her role as Senior Manager – Brand, Planning and Insights at Spark. She has the full gamut of experience, including working agency side, in senior roles at .99, Vodafone NZ and Westpac.

“I’m excited about joining BNZ and being at the helm of such an iconic kiwi brand. Everyone I’ve met so far has been very passionate about the BNZ brand journey and I can’t wait to be part of it,” she said.

Jodene will start at BNZ on 20 June 2016.
