Second People’s Choice Award for BNZ KiwiSaver
16 May 2018By BNZ Head of Wealth & Private Bank, Donna Nicolof
KiwiSaver should be a key part of New Zealanders’ retirement planning. Because of how vital it is, we have put a huge emphasis on making sure the BNZ KiwiSaver Scheme is as good as it can be. This approach was recently given the tick by our customers with ConsumerNZ awarding us their People’s Choice Award for the second year running.[1]
This year, our scheme maintained a very strong position and increased our ‘very satisfied’ customers to 71%, with the industry average being 51%. If we also include our 17% “somewhat satisfied” customers, it brings our total satisfied customers to 88%.
In the past year we’ve worked to make the BNZ KiwiSaver Scheme even better for our customers by developing new tools and calculators to help customers get the most out of what for many people is their only investment in financial markets.
We’re now a back-to-back winner of the KiwiSaver People’s Choice Award and that’s a real testament to the hard work we do to help New Zealanders be good with money. KiwiSaver is obviously a critical element of how we plan for our retirements – but it’s also become a way for people to save towards their first home.
While the ongoing recognition of the scheme is a strong vote of confidence, we always strive to be better. With that in mind, we’d love to hear from you about what we can do differently to make the BNZ KiwiSaver Scheme even more compelling. Please email us with any feedback or suggestions.
We know how essential KiwiSaver is to so many New Zealanders and that’s why we are so focused on providing a great experience for our customers. The knowledge and experience we have gained from developing our KiwiSaver offering has also helped us deliver the bank’s newest wealth management product, YouWealth. You’ll hear more from us on that shortly.
