BNZ appoints Paul Littlefair Executive, Technology

Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) has appointed Paul Littlefair as Executive, Technology.

Paul, already acting in the role since October last year, was previously BNZ’s Chief Technology Officer and was appointed after an extensive international recruitment process. Prior to BNZ he was CIO for Livestock Improvement Corporation and has held executive and leadership positions in several financial institutions.

BNZ CEO Dan Huggins says, “Paul is a proven leader with extensive experience in delivering technology solutions at a time of unprecedented change.

“Paul has been instrumental in continuing to evolve the BNZ experience, managing our seamless transition to flexible working for our people and increased online and phone services for customers.

“In this role Paul will be working closely with our operational excellence team to stand up a strong bank-wide technology platform that allows us to innovate and continue to deliver for our customers and colleagues,” he says.

Paul’s appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
